.--Yoga and Healing Arts Therapy's vision is to serve you in the spirit of facilitating healing in your body, mind and heart. Lynne Nicole Smith has been teaching Qigong since 2002 and Yoga since 2005. In exploring both ancient practices in depth, she has weaved them together beautifully to create "Chi-Infused Yoga" which is a fusion of Qigong and Prananyama Yoga.
---Lynne also teaches "T'ai Chi Easy" and Qigong. Even if one is not seeking "therapy" per se, it turns out that all of these practices will help you to feel calm, energized and better able to cope and thrive among life's complexities, stress and responsibilities. You will gain practical tools that you can use in your life to access strength, deeper self-acceptance, and health of mind, body and heart.
---Lynne Nicole's style of teaching is gentle, tranquil and meditative. Her private instruction, classes and retreats are designed to help you truly let go of Physical, Mental and Emotional struggle. Lynne has committed her life to deepening her knowledge, growth and commitment to these ancient practices and after being accepted to multiple graduate programs in Social Work and Counseling Psychology, she became clear that what she had been teaching and doing all along was exactly where she needed to be.
---Lynne has experienced and witnessed profound healing and transformation through Qigong and Yoga and holds retreats that offer new and experienced students an opportunity to reclaim sanctuary within and with others. Through embracing meditation in motion and anchoring into our breath, these ancient and profound movement practices are a powerful form of healing and empowerment on all levels.
---We all have access to genuine and lasting transformation, for many it begins with accepting ourselves more deeply as we are. We can all be The Phoenix Rising in our own lives....with commitment to these practices and commitment to our personal health, inner alchemy occurs and life becomes more easeful.
---I have found a way to celebrate life and nature. I have found a way past the pain of my past. I have explored in depth where genuine strength arises from. Each of us comes to these practices for different reasons creating a beautiful tapestry of experience and knowledge that we all learn from. Together, we build and learn more. It is my hope to build a community and an alliance with all of you...we share this path together.
Lynne has gained a broad and informed perspective from three complimentary traditions. She is a Senior Trainer with The Institute of Integral Qigong and T'ai Chi and is a Certified Teacher in T'ai Chi/Qigong and Chi-Infused Yoga. You will learn powerful tools for self-care to empower your life.
I hope to meet you in person at a retreat or private lesson. Please let me know if you have any questions.
